RedBirds Field Trip

Take me out to the ballgame! Campus School is going a field trip to see our own Memphis Redbirds at the annual Education Day game. The game is on Wednesday, May 9. We will leave Campus at 9:30 AM and return by 2:30 PM.

We will prepay group rates for parking in the Peabody Place Garage and walk to the ballpark.

We will eat lunch at the ballpark. There is a food voucher that you can purchase for your child or you can choose to send your child with a sack lunch and a drink the day of the field trip. However, you will not be able to send your child with money to purchase food or drinks the day of the game. It will be too much for chaperones to manage.

Please fill out and sign this permission slip and return with the appropriate money by Monday, April 2. Please send cash only. All chaperones must complete the MCS background screening at least two weeks before the field trip. Since we sit by grade at the ballgame, if you have multiple children attending Campus School and would like to chaperone, you will have to choose one child to chaperone. Only sign up to chaperone for that child’s class.

Student ticket and parking: $11

Chaperone ticket: $8

Food Voucher Option: $6 for hot dog, chips and a soda

JOOI Up and Away Day! (Purchase the Tiger)

Up and Away Day!

Dear Parents:

The JOOI Club of Campus School is sponsoring a fundraiser from March 27-April 5 to help purchase our tiger. Each student has a choice of donating $1.00-$3.00. A $1.00 donation purchases a tiger with the student’s name to be displayed in the school. A $2.00 donation purchases the tiger and bubbles to blow to celebrate. A $3.00 donation purchases the items above PLUS the opportunity to wear jeans. All donations should be placed in a sealed envelope labeled “JOOI Up and Away Day”. If you have any questions, please see Ms. McClendon or Ms. Mitchell.

Tiger Shirts

The Tiger shirts will be painted during the regular art class times the week after April Break (April 10 - 13).

Mrs. Larrick also needs cardboard and newspaper for this project.
